Build the technical foundations of sport climbing on fully bolted single-pitch routes. Mirando al Sur’s Level 1 course develops equipment knowledge, belaying and climbing techniques to use on future days at the crag.

The course aims to prepare you to lead fully bolted single-pitch sport climbs with effective ropework and sound safety practices.

Previous experience and personal equipment

• Completion of a climbing taster or equivalent experience to make use of the training. If you have never climbed, ask about the introductory taster first.

• Duration: two days.
• Availability: year-round.
• Hours: 08:00–15:00.
• Ratio: one instructor per four participants.
