Navigation and GPS courses

Mountain navigation and GPS courses

Learn to plan a route and navigate using maps, a compass and digital tools. The basic course covers mapping and straightforward navigation; the advanced course develops route planning, GPS and digital navigation skills.

Courses are offered in Jaén, Granada and Madrid according to the programme. Check the content, prerequisites and equipment for each course. The aim is to use what you learn on your own outings and make better decisions when navigation is challenging.

Ask about dates and availability. If you already use maps and a compass, tell us about your experience so we can suggest the right level.
